NSCDC Nabs Notorious Kidnapper, Fake Doctor In Bauchi

Nigeria security and civil defence corps Bauchi command has successfully arrested one notorious kidnapper in connection with series of banditry activities within Toro local government area of Bauchi state as well as fake medical doctor in Misau town

This was disclosed by the Public relations officer of the corps DSC Ibrahim Abubakar Gabdo in a press statement made available to news men on Wednesday

He explained that Kidnappers/bandits are on the run in their enclaves at different locations especially within Toro forest.

However, the Corps intensified efforts in its patrol and surveillance and luck run out of one suspected kidnapper Muhammad Sani Rinji who was arrested by the officers and men of Nasarawa state command in Lafia based on credible intelligence

The statement further revealed that, during interrogation, they confessed of commiting all crimes against them that they were responsible for the series of Kidnapping and armed robbery activities in Toro axis and beyond

However, the statement indicate that the command also succeeded in arresting a suspected fake medical doctor Usman Sadiq Yelwa working with the General Hospital Misau, who was also arrested on credible intelligence information, while helping the corps during preliminary investigation.

Meanwhile, the two suspects have been charged to court for the established offences for prosecution accordingly.

The corps commandant also expressed that, It is worthy to note, the milestone recorded by the command would be attributed to the strategic review of their operations through a robust changes in the divisions and other sister security agencies through an intelligence partnership.

the press statement affirmed that the command will not shy away from its constitutional mandate of protecting the lives and property of citizens in the state.
