JUST IN: Fed Govt Workers Start Receiving ₦35,000 Wage Award

Following the recent approval of a ₦35,000 provisional wage award for all treasury-paid federal government workers by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the federal government has taken the first step in implementing this significant wage increase.

This move comes after extensive consultations between the federal government delegation and representatives from the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC).

While federal government employees have already started receiving the additional ₦35,000 wage award as part of their monthly salary, state and local government workers are eagerly awaiting similar actions from their respective governors.
