Ex-House of Reps Member Dodges Bullets in Dramatic Bandit Encounter

In a terrifying ordeal, Honorable Kabiru Yahaya Classic, the immediate past member of the House of Representatives representing Anka/Mafara, had a close brush with danger as he embarked on a journey to Kano State to visit his mother. His route from Kucheri to Magazu in Tsafe local government became the backdrop of a harrowing encounter with armed bandits wielding formidable firearms.

Unbelievably, he emerged from this perilous situation unscathed, narrowly dodging the bullets fired at him. Though the bullets left a visible impact, they miraculously failed to penetrate his body, sparing him from any physical injury.

Following this heart-pounding incident, Honorable Kabiru Yahaya Classic was promptly admitted to the Federal Medical Center (FMC) in Gusau, Tsafe, for a comprehensive medical evaluation. Fortunately, the doctors confirmed that his bones remained unbroken, and there were no bullets lodged within his body.

With the resilience and strength that have defined him throughout his career, Honorable Kabiru Yahaya Classic is already on the path to a full recovery. His remarkable survival serves as a stark reminder of the security challenges confronting our nation and underscores the need for united efforts to protect the well-being and safety of all citizens. This incident impels us to reiterate the urgency of addressing security issues and ensuring that such encounters are eradicated from our lives.
