Blind Traditional Healer Scams ₦19 Million, Involved In Sex With Victim’s Daughter

An elderly lady, 86-year-old Madam Alimot, found herself ensnared by a cunning fraudster, leading to a loss of 19 million Naira. This deceiver, Owolabi Adefemi, who poses as a blind traditional healer in Ogun State, has left Madam Alimot and her granddaughter entangled in a web of deceit.

Owolabi Adefemi, known as Ojunu, leveraged his guise as a healer to manipulate the vulnerable lady and her family. The blind man’s alleged misconduct has sent shockwaves throughout Ogun State.

Madam Alimot’s plight worsened when she turned to Owolabi Adefemi for help. Having lost 12 of her 15 children, she sought solace and aid from the blind healer. However, the situation took a nefarious turn as he consistently requested increasing amounts of money from her.

The blind man’s cunning tactics left Madam Alimot in dire financial straits, compelling her to part with a staggering 19 million Naira. She was even forced to sell two of her houses to satisfy the healer’s insatiable demands.

This unsettling incident serves as a stark warning to all, shedding light on the schemes fraudsters employ to exploit unsuspecting victims. Investigations into this case are underway, aiming to bring the perpetrator to justice and prevent others from falling prey to such deceit.
