Why I Refuse To Stop Calling Tinubu Drug Dealer – Baba-Ahmed

Former federal lawmaker and ex-vice-presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the previous election, Senator Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, has maintained that he will not refrain from referring to former Lagos State governor, President Bola Tinubu, as a drug dealer, despite calls for respect.

Datti Baba-Ahmed expressed this stance during an interview on Arise TV, following his appearance at a world press conference in Abuja with the Labour Party’s presidential candidate in the last election, Peter Obi.

While there have been reports linking President Tinubu to drug-related activities from years past, the Supreme Court has declined to make any rulings on such matters.

“Respecting Tinubu doesn’t mean I won’t use the term ‘drug dealer’ to describe him,” he affirmed.

Datti Baba-Ahmed emphasized that Nigerians must reclaim their country and asserted their right to do so.

“Let’s disarm Nigerians and channel their energies against those who threaten Nigeria; the nation must be reclaimed!”

He emphasized the importance of sovereignty and power residing with the people, stating, “Democracy is the birthright of those who can exercise it.”
