Dino Melaye’s Shocking Endorsement: Atiku Drops Political Bombshell!

In a powerful address during the Peoples Democratic Party’s grand finale campaign rally in Lokoja, Atiku Abubakar, former Vice President, passionately endorsed Senator Dino Melaye as the PDP’s gubernatorial candidate for the upcoming Saturday election in Kogi State. Atiku expressed deep disappointment with Governor Yahaya Bello for purportedly obstructing the party’s use of Confluence Stadium, Lokoja, likening it to past incidents in Osun State that resulted in the PDP’s victory.

Despite facing challenges, Atiku commended the unwavering support of the electorate who defied obstacles, emphasizing Senator Dino Melaye’s qualities of commitment, courage, and focus. Atiku fervently appealed to the people to cast their votes for Melaye and safeguard the democratic process.

Asserting his credentials among the 18 governorship candidates, Atiku declared himself as the most educated, experienced, and exposed. Former Kogi State governor, Idris Wada, echoed Atiku’s sentiments, emphasizing the numerous achievements of the PDP contrasted with the setbacks imposed by the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), including poverty, a weak economy, and underdevelopment.

Wada urged Kogi citizens to rise against what he labeled as “bad leadership” and advocate for positive change. Meanwhile, the PDP issued a stern caution to the APC, warning against any attempts to rig the governorship elections in Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi. Debo Ologunagba, the National Publicity Secretary, asserted that the party had mobilized the people to protect their votes, emphasizing the PDP’s commitment to resisting any form of manipulation. Ologunagba concluded the statement by highlighting that those attempting to rig the elections would face the legitimate wrath of the people, underscoring the party’s unwavering dedication to ensuring a fair electoral process.
