FFK Drops Bombshell: Dino Melaye’s Political Career Takes a Shocking Nose Dive!

In the aftermath of the Kogi state Governorship election, despite his flamboyant and bombastic demeanor, Dino Melaye faced a resounding defeat. Known for his theatrical antics and membership in the ‘Bugger Me Stiff United Football Club,’ he received a meager percentage, securing less than 47,000 votes out of the 751,000 cast, which is approximately 5%.

In a surprising turn of events, Melaye not only failed to clinch victory but also landed a distant third, with some sources suggesting an even lower position. This outcome is particularly disheartening for a figure who once held positions as a House of Representatives member and a Senator.

The irony is not lost in Melaye’s fate, considering his past mockery of political opponents, including derogatory remarks directed at PBAT, accusations of drug-related activities, and controversial actions during presidential campaign rallies. Today, the tables have turned, marking what seems to be the end of his political career.

It appears that the promises made by the political landscape, symbolized by the White Lion of Kogi, have been fulfilled, effectively retiring Dino Melaye from active politics. In the face of this defeat, one cannot help but reflect on the proverbial fall of the mighty. My sympathies extend to him during this challenging political transition.
