JUST IN: High Security As A’Court Delivers Judgment on Kano, Bauchi Gov Disputes

By Garba Adamu Gwangwangwan

The Court of Appeal complex in the Federal Capital Territory is under tight security as the appellate court prepares to deliver judgments on the governorship appeals of Kano and Bauchi states.

Several roads leading to the court have been closed off by the Nigeria Police Force, with a considerable number of supporters attempting to access the premises.

In an attempt to manage the influx of supporters, police officers resorted to firing teargas canisters, and at the time of reporting, efforts are underway to prevent any potential disorder on the court premises.

The scheduled judgments for both appeals were set for 10 am.
