In the recruitment process for permanent secretaries within the Federal Civil Service, 18 top directors have advanced to the next stage following a rigorous ICT assessment. However, directors from Bauchi and Ebonyi states didn’t make the cut due to their failure in the assessment.
As per a memo from the OHCSF, these 18 candidates excelled in Stages 1 and 2, securing an invitation to the oral interview phase for the appointment of Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service.
Initially, 85 directors were shortlisted for the written assessment, with four absentees. Out of those, only 20 directors successfully passed the exam, progressing to the subsequent ICT proficiency stage.
A memo dated November 7, 2023, from the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation revealed that 61 directors who scored below 50 percent in the examination were disqualified from further participation in the recruitment process.
