Bauchi Assembly Gets New Speaker, Deputy

In a bit to fill the gab created following the appeal court verdict that nullify the election of speaker Bauchi state house of Assembly, Abubakar Y. Suleiman amd his deputy, Jamilu Umaru.

The Bauchi State House of Assembly has elected Babayo Akuyam as its new Speaker.

Akuyam who is representing Hardawa Constituency in Misau Local Government Area of the state.

The House during it plenary elected Ahmed Abdullahi, feom Dass Constituency in Dass LGA, as Deputy Speaker.
