JUST IN: JAMB announces dates for 2024 UTME examination

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has unveiled the highly anticipated schedule for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). According to JAMB spokesman Fabian Benjamin, the sale of UTME application forms is set to kick off on January 15 and will conclude on February 26.

In a significant move, the main UTME is scheduled to be conducted from April 19 to April 29, 2024. Additionally, JAMB has earmarked March 7, 2024, for the MOCK-UTME, providing candidates with a valuable preparatory opportunity leading up to the main examination.

The decision to finalize these dates stemmed from recommendations made during a two-day Information Technology (IT) and Management Retreat held between November 26th and 28th, 2023. As per the statement released by JAMB, candidates should expect the sale of Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) application documents to commence from January 15th to February 26th, 2024. The 2024 MOCK-UTME is scheduled for March 7th, while the main UTME will take place from April 19th to 29th.

To stay updated and informed regarding examination administration, candidates are advised to print their examination slips starting from April 10, 2024, and to heed additional advisories issued by the Board. Further details and any necessary information can be accessed through the Board’s official website at www.jamb gov.ng.
