Breaking: N50,000 Grants Open for Nigerian Traders, Creatives, and More, Apply Now

The Federal Government of Nigeria proudly announces the inauguration of the Presidential Conditional Loan and Grant Scheme aimed at assisting businesses across various sectors in the country, including Nano businesses, under the Presidential Palliative Program.

Eligible Sectors for the Grant:

• Traders: Encompassing single retail marketers, corner shop owners, petty traders, and market individuals in open markets.
• Food Services: Encompassing food and vegetable vendors.
• ICT: Covering business center operators, battery chargers, recharge card vendors, and call center agents.
• Transportation: Including wheelbarrow pushers and independent dispatch riders.
• Creatives: Involving makeup artists, fashion designers, and dry cleaners.
• Artisans: Including vulcanizers, shoemakers, painters, and repairers.

Applications meeting the specified selection criteria will be shortlisted for consideration.

Details About the Scheme:
The grant, amounting to N50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira) per beneficiary, aims to support one million nano businesses spanning the 774 local government areas. Collaborating with State Governments, Honourable Ministers, NASME (Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises), Senators, and House of Representative Members, the Federal Government will use specified selection criteria to shortlist beneficiaries from their constituencies.

The program is aimed at:

• 70% women and youth
• 10% people with disabilities
• 5% senior citizens
• 15% other demographics
