NDLEA operatives recently intervened in an alarming pre-wedding event marred by drug abuse, disrupting a ceremony in Shola Quarters, Katsina. Their intervention led to the arrest of 25 individuals actively engaging in a drug-fueled gathering.
In a coordinated operation based on intelligence, NDLEA officials descended on the scene where participants were found consuming a range of illicit substances, including a concoction of various drugs blended in a plastic bucket.
The groom-to-be, Musa Gwandi, one of the organizers, was absent during the arrest of the 25 individuals. However, he was later apprehended after a concerted effort to track him down.
