Tinubu Power Play: APC Unveiled Agenda for 2025

By Vincent Ujumadu

Nze Chidi Duru, APC’s Deputy National Organizing Secretary, revealed in Awka that President Bola Tinubu has authorized a strategic plan for the party’s success in the 2025 Anambra gubernatorial election. The plan, disclosed by APC’s national chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, at a recent stakeholders’ meeting in Abuja, was shared during the distribution of 1000 bags of rice and N100 million in cash by former APC national auditor, Sir Paul Chukwuma, to party executives statewide.

Duru emphasized that the party’s national chairman will visit Anambra in January 2024 to unveil the plan, urging party executives to initiate mobilization efforts across wards ahead of the visit. Ganduje’s agenda includes reconciling all party supporters in the state, even the dissatisfied members, as part of groundwork for the 2025 elections, emphasizing unity as crucial to securing power from the ruling APGA.

Chief Basil Ejidike, APC’s state chairman, appreciated Chukwuma’s gesture and called for emulation by other affluent party members, highlighting its significance in showcasing concern for the grassroots amid the party’s non-ruling status. Ejidike stressed the importance of electoral victory, pledging continuous efforts to expand APC’s membership in Anambra through robust mobilization.

Observing Chukwuma’s unprecedented gesture’s unifying effect, Ejidike highlighted its potential to foster peace and unity among members within Anambra and beyond.

Additionally, Chukwuma detailed his initiatives to enhance APC’s visibility in Anambra through strategically placed billboards across the state’s 21 local government areas before the gubernatorial election. He expressed unwavering commitment to bolstering the party’s prominence and ensuring Anambra’s alignment with APC’s national influence, underscoring the party’s pan-African popularity.
