In a strategic move aimed at bolstering the governance structure of Katsina State, Governor Dikko Radda has given the nod for the appointment of 36 individuals to spearhead various government offices and roles within his administration. The Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to the governor, Malam Ibrahim Kaula, unveiled this comprehensive list in a statement released to the media in Katsina.
These appointments, as outlined by Kaula, are designed to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of diverse government agencies in the state. Among the notable appointees are Alhaji Badamasi Ya’u-Yantumaki, assigned as the Director General of Katsina State Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP), and Alhaji Muhammad Lawal-Matazu, appointed as the General Manager of Katsina State Assets Management Agency.
Additional key roles include Alhaji Ibrahim Lawal-Dankaba as the Executive Director of Katsina State Small Town and Water Sanitation Agency (STOWASSA), and Dr. Mudassir Nasir heading the Katsina State Social Investment Programme Agency (KTSIPA) as its Coordinator. Other appointments cover vital areas such as education, social welfare, and economic development.
