On Wednesday, a Federal High Court in Abuja issued an order for the remand of the ex-Minister of Power and Steel, Olu Agunloye, in Kuje Correctional Service.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) brought forward charges against Agunloye, accusing him of involvement in fraud related to the Mambilla Power Project.
Appearing before the Federal High Court in Abuja, Agunloye pleaded not guilty to the charges levied against him. Nevertheless, the judge directed that the embattled former minister be remanded until bail is granted.
