BREAKING: Supreme Court Decides Kano, 6 Other Gov’ship Disputes Friday

In a highly anticipated development, the Supreme Court has officially scheduled the judgement day for the Kano State governorship election appeal. Mark your calendars for Friday, January 12, 2024, as the apex court gears up to pronounce its decision on this crucial case. Additionally, six other governorship disputes are expected to receive verdicts on the same day, barring any unforeseen changes in the plan.

LEADERSHIP’s latest report highlights that the Supreme Court had previously reserved judgement on governorship election cases in Plateau, Delta, and Abia states. The legal team secretary for the ruling New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Barrister Bashir Tudun Wuzirci, officially confirmed this development to Newspoint Nigeria on Wednesday night.

He revealed, “Yes, it is officially confirmed. They have told us to appear on Friday for the judgement. They told us that each party should not have more than two counsels in attendance. This, they said, is because they will be delivering seven judgements on that same Friday.” Stay tuned for the outcome of this significant day in the legal landscape.
