The Supreme Court has held back its judgment regarding the appeals filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC) challenging the election of Alex Otti.
A five-man panel, headed by Justice John Okoro, adjourned the proceedings for judgments after hearing arguments from the involved parties.
Earlier, the Court of Appeal in Lagos had dismissed the petitions filed by the Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate, Okey Ahiwe, as well as Ikechi Emenike of the APC.
Both the APC and PDP are urging the apex court to invalidate Alex Otti’s election as Abia State Governor representing the Labour Party.
