Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi has approved the appointment of Ahmed Umar Labbo as the Director General, Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board for the period of Four Years.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim.
The statement said the appointment of Labbo as Director General, Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board is purely on merit, competence and personal integrity.
Malam Bala Ibrahim stated that, Ahmed Umar Labbo served as Director Operations of the Board and was elevated to the position of the Executive Secretary of the Board on 20th March, 2023 based on his wealth of experience and track record of performance.
“It is, therefore, hoped that, the appointee would justify the confidence reposed in him and put in his best towards the development of Jigawa State” SSG said
The statement explained that,the appointment takes effect from 11th January, 2024.
