Breaking: Local Government Chairman and Police Escort Abducted by Bandits in Northern Nigeria

Unknown gunmen abducted Haanongon Gideon, the Caretaker Chairman of Ukum Local Government Area in Benue State, along with three others, including his Personal Assistant, driver, and a police officer. The incident occurred on Saturday morning while Gideon was on his way to attend the burial of Chief Fezaanga Wombo, the paramount ruler of Katsina-Ala LG, in Anyagba, Tongov, Katsina-Ala Local Government Area.
