Tinubu Vows No Mercy For Anyone Found Culpable Within Humanitarian Affairs

The Presidency announced yesterday that the administration led by President Bola Tinubu will not spare any individual implicated in the ongoing investigation into alleged fraud within the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, along with its Social Investment Programmes.

Ajuri Ngelale, the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, disclosed this information, stating, “The President has given clear instructions to the EFCC chairman to conduct a thorough investigation. The directive is unequivocal—no individual, regardless of their name or position, should be exempt if found involved in the situation. No sacred cows will be protected.”

Ngelale emphasized that the President’s approach to the investigation is comprehensive, stating, “Wherever this investigation leads the EFCC and other relevant authorities, the President expects it to go, and appropriate action will be taken accordingly.”

The presidential spokesperson also highlighted the President’s stance on discipline, corruption, dereliction of duty, or any other form of incompetence within his administration. “President Tinubu has conveyed his intolerance for any misconduct and has made it clear to all members of his administration. If he identifies anyone falling short of their responsibilities, he is committed to addressing the issue promptly.”

Ngelale concluded by noting that President Tinubu would not hesitate to make necessary changes if he perceives a lack of capability in any member of his administration. “President Tinubu will not delay in addressing shortcomings. If he determines that someone is not adequately fulfilling their role, corrective action will be taken swiftly.”
