ZSUBEB Chairman Charges Teachers To Brace Up, Guarantees Them Of Welfare

As part of his efforts to improve teaching and learning in the state, the Executive Chairman of Zamfara State Universal Basic Education Board, (ZSUBEB), Prof. Nasir Garba Anka (Makama of Sokoto South), organised and participated in a Zamfara Radio programme and paid an unscheduled visit to some primary and junior secondary schools in the state.

Prof. Anka said the unscheduled visit to some primary and junior secondary schools was to enable him to see things by himself aimed at ensuring that teachers are discharging heir duties in the best appropriate manner.

While on the visit, Prof. Anka assured teachers in the state that his leadership is determined to improve their welfare.

The Executive Chairman added that, the unexpected supervision will cover the 14 Local Government Areas of the state.

Prof. Anka charged wealthy individuals, parents and stakeholders to contribute their quota for the development of education in the state.

“Education is the responsibility of all, without which no meaningful development could be achieved in the society.

The schools visited are Jauri Dangiwa Primary School, Nigerian Correctional Services, Officers’ Wives Association, Unguwar Gwaza and the ongoing Construction of Tsangya Special school in Gusau.

The Executive Chairman was accompanied on the working visit by the Permanent Member II, Rufa’i Jibril Muhammad, Director Physical Planning Qs Aliyu Abdullahi, Director Teacher Training and Development Center, Yusuf Ado, Director Special program, Nasiru Muhammad Anka.
