JIgawa Gov. Appoints Managing Director JISEPA, Urges Him For Productivity

Governor Umar A. Namadi has approved the appointment of Adamu Sabo as the newly appointed Managing Director, Jigawa State Environmental Protection Agency (JISEPA).

This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim in Dutse,the capital city of the state

The statement reads the appointment of the new Managing Director followed the retirement of the former Managing Director, Engr. Ahmed Lawal from service on 24th December, 2023.

A sanitarian, until his appointment, Adamu Sabo, is the Director Environmental Health and is also currently running the affairs of the Agency in acting capacity.

Malam Bala Ibrahim explained that the appointment of the appointee is based on merit,competence,professionalism and personal integrity.

Adamu Sabo joined the State Civil Service in 1998 as an Environmental Health Officer.He seconded to UNICEF/deloitte as UNICEF WASH Consultant from 2017 to 2022.

The new Managing Director, is a product of the prestigious Bayero University, Kano.

He obtained a Masters Degree in Environmental Management (HEM) from the same University.

” I urge the new Managing Director to use his experience and work diligently for sound execution of this administration’s policies and programmes” the SSG said.

The appointment takes immediate effect.
