Emir Of Dutse Advocates For Air Force Base Establishment In Jigawa

The Emir Of Dutse,HRH Hamim Nuhu Sunusi has called on the federal ministry of Defense to establish Air-force base in Dutse or Hadejia Emirate council with the view to ensure peaceful coexistence and development among the citizens

The monarch made the appeal during the foundation laying ceremony of 1500 Housing estate in dutse performed by Defense minister Badaru Abubakar,along with Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa state.

The monarch equally noted that Jigawa state is one of the states in the North western part of Nigeria that serves as an entry routes or gateway to some Northeastern states affected by insurgency and other security challenges such as banditry and kidnapping.

The Emir,equally appreciates the quality leadership of Governor Umar Namadi has been providing with in Jigawa state and calls on critical stakeholders to join hands together with the governor in moving the state forward.

Meanwhile the defense minister Badaru Abubakar in his response appreciates the efforts of the governor governor Umar Namadi and peaceful coexistence among the citizens of Jigawa state and appealed to them to fervently pray for the development,peace and unity of Nigeria,which is one of the cardinal principles and sincere commitment of President Tinubu’s led government

The defense minister,added that Jigawa state is one of the most peaceful states across the federation of Nigeria.
