You Are Still Part Of Us’, ECOWAS Rejects Exit Of Niger, Mali, Burkina Faso

ECOWAS, the Economic Community of West African States, finds itself in the midst of a significant upheaval as three of its member states – Niger, Mali, and Burkina Faso – have announced their intention to withdraw from the regional bloc. The decision came suddenly, with the military juntas of these nations declaring their exit with immediate effect. This move follows tensions within ECOWAS, particularly after the military takeover in Niger.
