ZSUBEB Collaborates With Schools Feeding Agency To Advance Basic Education In Zamfara

Zamfara state Universal Basic Education Board (ZSUBEB), said it is taking necessary proactive measures, in collaboration with National Home Grown School Feeling Program to fast track success and advancement of Basic Education in the state

ZSUBEB Executive Chairman, Prof. Nasir Garba Anka Made the assertion when Coordinator of Home Grown School Feeding Program in Zamfara State paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Gusau, the state capital.

The Executive Chairman said education is the responsibility of all, emphasizing “that is why we are always calling on all stakeholders on education to come together and contribute towards the development of education in Zamfara, especially the Basic Education sector which is the foundation”.

Prof. Anka told the Coordinator, that the visit was not only important, but Timely, considering the fact that, the feeding programm plays vital roles at this crucial time that the state Governor, H.E Dauda Lawal, has declared a State of Emergency on Education

“Your collaboration with us will make impact on education sctor in the state”, the chairman added.

Prof. Anka assured the Program‚s agency in the state of necessary support and cooperation to enable it discharge its duties successfully, and called onthe state coordinating office of the program to work hard, stressing ” all hands must be on deck to succeed “.

Earlier in his address, the visiting Coordinator of the National Home Grown School Feeding Program Agency in the state, Alh. Aliyu Guraguri (Sardauna Shinkafi), said they were at the ZSUBEB chaitman’s office to congratulate him on his appointment as the Executive Chairman of the board, and also to introduce himself to him as well as to seek for collaborative support.

” because most of our activities have to do with your board”, the Coordinator noted.

Sardaunan Shinkafi said, his Agency will provide feeding to primary one, two and three pupils, and called on the state government to provide enabling avenue for the feeding of primary four, five and six pupils as part of motivation to parents to send their wards to school

During the visit, the Executive Chairman of ZSUBEB, Prof. Nasir Garba Anka ( Makama of Sokoto South), was confirmed and decored by the visiting Coordinator as Patron of the Agency.
