The Executive Chairman of Zamfara State Universal Basic Education Board, ZSUBEB, Prof. Nasir Garba Anka (Makama of Sokoto South] has expressed satisfaction with the sterling performance of teachers of Dr. Karima Nursery/Primary School, Gusau
The Chairman expressed his excitement while on inspection visit at the school, and to witness an intehouse competion among pupils of the school.
“‘I was overwhelmed with the way and manner staff and students are performing effectively . It makes me happy “, said Prof. Anka
He added that “sometimes, if I visited some schools it annoyed me, but today you make me happy, and this is one of my happiest days.”
Prof Anka explained that ,the state Governor, Dr Dauda Lawal’s administration will continue to support and improve learning environment to standard, so that a common man can enjoy dividends of democracy and will have free access to education which is germain to human life.
The Executive Chairman commended the efforts of staff of the school for organizing an intérhouse competition and other wonderful activities in the school.
He called on rest of other schools in the state to emulate them, assuring that the state government currently is making arrangements to improve welfare of teachers and creatig conducive environment for learning across the state
On the interhouse competition organized by the school, Balkisu House took the first position, Asama’u House second position, Dr Karima House third position while Habiba House took the fourth position
The Executive Chairman was decorated and presented with different awards by the pupils of the school.
