Aisha Yesufu Accuses Tinubu Of Rigging Into Power To Kill Nigerians

Aisha Yesufu, a rights activist and Labour Party stalwart, has accused President Bola Tinubu of rigging his way into power with the intent to harm Nigerians.

Yesufu claimed that Nigerians, who already endured poverty during the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari, are now facing even greater hardship.

In a social media post, Yesufu lamented that those close to the president seem oblivious to the current suffering of Nigerians.

She stated, “The people who suffered multi-dimensional poverty under Buhari; can you imagine their plight now? Tinubu rigged his way in to dismantle Nigeria.”

Yesufu criticized the Muslim-Muslim ticket and the elite, suggesting that they are disconnected from the struggles of the ordinary citizens. She highlighted their indifference by saying, “Whenever they make purchases, they simply shrug, ‘at least we’re in power,’ as if nothing else matters.”

Nigerians across various platforms have been vocal about the widespread hardships in the country, attributing them to failed governance.

Critics have pointed fingers at President Tinubu, blaming his economic policies for exacerbating the nation’s woes.
