PDP Governors Are Working To Tackle Economic Challenges – Makinde

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has announced that the Governors elected under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) are collaborating to devise a comprehensive action plan to address Nigeria’s current economic hardships.

Makinde urged Nigerians to remain resilient and partner with leaders to rejuvenate the nation, emphasizing the commitment of PDP Governors to positively impact citizens despite recent criticisms.

Speaking during the commissioning of the 12.5-kilometer Challenge-Odo Ona Elewe-Apata Road in Ibadan, renamed Theophilus Akinyele Road, Makinde highlighted the recent deliberations among PDP Governors aimed at alleviating economic distress and unveiling solutions.

He emphasized the necessity for proactive measures, emphasizing the party’s dedication to national progress over political interests.

Makinde affirmed that the forthcoming action plan would exemplify the party’s prioritization of citizen welfare, echoing similar developmental initiatives in Oyo State aimed at enhancing livelihoods and fostering economic growth.
