BREAKING: Tinubu Appoints New Immigration Comptroller-General

President Bola Tinubu has given the green light to the appointment of DCG Kemi Nanna Nandap as the Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Immigration Service.

Effective March 1, 2024, Nandap will assume her duties, as confirmed in a statement on Wednesday by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale.

Nandap succeeds Mrs. Caroline Wura-Ola Adepoju, whose tenure concludes on February 29, 2024.

Prior to this elevation, Nandap served as the Deputy Comptroller-General overseeing the Migration Directorate of the Service.

The statement expressed the President’s anticipation that the new Comptroller-General will enhance the ongoing reforms within the service, ensuring efficient and dedicated service delivery to Nigerians. Additionally, Nandap is expected to bolster the nation’s security through proactive and effective border security and migration management.
