In a bid to alleviate economic pressures on residents, Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has unveiled a new work schedule for civil servants. Starting next week, civil servants from levels 1-14 will work three days a week. The governor made this announcement during a live media chat, ‘Sanwo Speaks’, where he highlighted the government’s efforts to ease the economic burden on Lagosians.
While workers in the teaching sector will continue with the standard five days a week schedule, the government has promised to provide additional transport support for them.
