Tinubu Appoints New Heads for NCC, NIGCOMSAT, and Galaxy Backbone

President Bola Tinubu has announced new leadership appointments for three key agencies within the Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy.

In a statement released by Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu appointed executives to head the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), the Nigerian Communications Satellite (NIGCOMSAT) Limited, and Galaxy Backbone Limited.

The appointments are as follows:

Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC): Abraham Oshadami as Executive Commissioner for Technical Services, Rimini Makama as Executive Commissioner for Stakeholder Management, and Opeyemi Dele-Ajayi as President/CEO of the Digital Bridge Institute.
Nigerian Communications Satellite (NIGCOMSAT) Limited: Abiodun Attah as Executive Director for Technical Services, Aisha Abdullahi as Executive Director for Finance & Administration, and Jaiyeola Awokoya as Executive Director for Marketing & Business Development.
Galaxy Backbone Limited: Ibrahim Adepoju Adeyanju as the new Managing Director/CEO, Mohammed Sani Ibrahim as Executive Director for Finance & Corporate Services, Olusegun Olulade as Executive Director for Customer Centricity & Marketing, and Olumbe Akinkugbe as Executive Director for Digital Exploration & Technical Services.
