ZSUBEB Distributes Educational Materials Across 10 LGs In Zamfara

Professor Nasir Garba Anka, the Executive Chairman of the Zamfara State Universal Basic Education Board (ZSUBEB), led a delegation in the distribution of reading and learning materials generously supported by the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF).

The distribution aimed to enhance educational access and quality across Zamfara State, particularly focusing on ten selected local government areas. These areas encompass Anka, Bungudu, Talata Mafara, Shinkafi, Zurmi, Kaura Namoda, Birnin Magaji Bukuyum, Tsafe, and Maradun.

Accompanied by key members of ZSUBEB, including Madawaki Dahiru Shehu, Alhaji Bala Aliyu Gusau, Rufa’i Jibril Muhammad, and Dr. Rabiatu Musa Mafara, along with Acting Secretary Aminu Musa Kanoma, Directors, and other dedicated staff, Prof. Anka orchestrated the distribution exercises.

The event took place at the Teacher Training and Development Center, situated along the Zaria road in Lalan Gusau. Beyond the dissemination of reading and learning materials, safety kits were also provided, ensuring a holistic approach to educational support in the region.

This initiative underscores the commitment of both ZSUBEB and UNICEF to bolstering educational infrastructure and resources in Zamfara State, ultimately fostering a conducive learning environment for students and educators alike. Such collaborative efforts are crucial in advancing the educational landscape and empowering future generations.
