JUST IN: Fatal Clash Between Rival Bandit Groups Leaves Many Dead in Zamfara

A fierce clash between two notorious bandit factions, Kachallah Mai Yankuzu and Dogo Bali, erupted near Mada, along the route connecting Gusau and Tsafe Local Government Areas in Zamfara State, resulting in numerous casualties.

The violent confrontation, which unfolded on Sunday morning, marked one of the deadliest encounters in the ongoing feud between the two groups. Dogo Bali, reportedly leading the offensive, mobilized his loyal fighters for a surprise attack on the Yankuzu hideouts, sparking a prolonged gun battle that commenced at 7 am.

Sources indicate that casualties have been reported from both sides, with the conflict still ongoing at the time of this report’s filing.

Both factions, known for their reign of terror, have been linked to various killings and abductions across Gusau, Tsafe, Danmusa, and Kankara, underscoring the pervasive threat posed by these criminal elements in the region.
