UPDATE: Kaduna NLC Members Rally Against Economic Hardships

In a show of discontent, civil servants flooded the streets of Kaduna to express their frustration over the ongoing economic struggles plaguing the nation.

With placards held high and voices united, the workers voiced their grievances, emphasizing their determination to speak out despite government warnings.

Their frustration stems from what they perceive as the government’s failure to honor agreements reached on October 2, 2023, particularly following the removal of the fuel subsidy.

This demonstration follows the expiration of a 14-day ultimatum given to the Federal Government to address the widespread hardships.

Despite a recent meeting between the federal government and the NLC ending without resolution, the union remains resolute in their decision to stage protests.
