Announcement from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) states that the sale and registration for Direct Entry forms commence today across the nation and in select foreign locations.
As confirmed by Fabian Benjamin, JAMB’s Public Communications Advisor, the registration window will remain open until Thursday, March 28.
Foreign candidates aspiring for tertiary education in Nigeria through Direct Entry are eligible to purchase the DE forms.
JAMB assures fairness in the process for all candidates, regardless of their status.
It’s emphasized that the board will not process applications from institutions that have not verified A’Level certificates presented by candidates during last year’s admission process.
Candidates are required to upload their A’Level qualifications, O’Level results, and DE registration template during registration.
Those awaiting A’Level results of IJMB/JUPEB/NABTEB must also upload their Admission Letter and Registration Template.
Verification of Cambridge certificates of pre-2018 examination year should be done directly through Cambridge.
The verification process may take up to 28 days, after which the result will be forwarded to the board and reflected on the candidate’s e-Facility profile.
Statement of results (instead of certificates) is acceptable for registration within three years of the award date.
A provision is made for candidates to upgrade from UTME to DE, provided their DE results were not released at the time of UTME registration, and they indicated that they were awaiting A’Level results.
