Bola Tinubu, the President, has announced the appointment of four individuals to serve as Executive Directors at the Transmission Company of Nigeria for a four-year term each.
In a statement released by Ajuri Ngelale, the President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, the appointments aim to “significantly improve the quality and quantity of electricity transmitted across the country’s power grid.”
Entitled ‘President Tinubu Announces New TCN Executive Directors,’ Ngelale’s statement highlights the following appointments:
- Oluwagbenga Ajiboye as Executive Director, Transmission Service Provider
- Nafisatu Ali as Executive Director, Independent System Operations
- Ochije Chukwuka as Executive Director, Finance & Accounts
- Abiodun Afolabi as Executive Director, Human Resources & Corporate Services.
The President urges the new appointees to fully dedicate themselves to realizing his administration’s innovative energy vision and providing consistently outstanding service to the Nigerian populace.
