Ramadan: Kebbi Govt Harps On 24 Hours Power Supply In The State

Amid concerns over the erratic power supply in Kebbi State, Governor Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has intensified efforts to ensure uninterrupted power supply for 24 hours during the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.

Speaking to reporters after inspecting ongoing projects in the state, Governor Idris assured that he has already arranged a meeting with the Managing Director of the Kaduna Electricity Distribution Company (KAECO) to discuss solutions to the power challenges faced by the people of Kebbi State.

Expressing dissatisfaction with the current electricity situation, the governor emphasized his desire for significant improvement in power supply during Ramadan, stating, “My aim is to provide 24-hour electricity, particularly during Ramadan. Therefore, I am committed to supporting the company in any way possible to achieve this goal, In-Sha-Allah.”

Furthermore, Governor Idris pledged to explore options for maintaining the enhanced power supply even after Ramadan and reiterated his commitment to fulfilling his campaign promises, emphasizing his administration’s focus on state development, peace, and unity.

Regarding the ongoing projects, Governor Idris praised the contractors and relevant ministries for their efforts, promising to initiate and execute more projects aimed at improving the lives of the people of Kebbi State.
