In Zamfara State, 13,000 impoverished households have been provided with essential aid during Ramadan. Governor Dauda Lawal urged residents to seek divine intervention for security challenges.

The distribution covered Bungudu, Gusau, Maru, and Tsafe Local Government Areas, aiming to ease economic hardship during fasting.

The state government, amidst security concerns, emphasized efforts to restore peace and stability.

Governor Lawal emphasized the importance of prayer during Ramadan to address security challenges. The initiative, aimed at supporting the needy, also addressed hardships from fuel subsidy removal and banditry hindering farming.
