Zamfara First Lady Extends Medical Support to Mother of Triplets

Hajjiya Huriya Lawal, the wife of Zamfara Governor, has pledged to cover the medical expenses of a woman who gave birth to triplets in Gusau. The announcement was made by Hajjiya Zahara’u Musa, the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Communication to the governor’s wife.

The first lady has ensured the transfer of the triplets and their mother to the Federal Medical Center (FMC) in Gusau for comprehensive medical attention.

Upon learning of the situation during a visit to King Fahad Women and Children Hospital in Gusau, the governor’s wife promptly took action.

Tragically, two of the triplets did not survive, but the surviving infant is now receiving specialized care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Additionally, the governor’s wife provided essential items such as toiletries, diapers, pampers, and milk to assist the mother of the triplets.

This assistance comes after the triplets were born at King Fahd Abdulaziz Women and Children Hospital in Samaru, Gusau, on January 31st.
