3000 Food Packs Distributed to Zamfara Community by Fidelity Bank

Fidelity Bank Plc, a leading financial institution, has distributed over 3000 food items to vulnerable households and less privileged families in Gusau, Zamfara State, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Initiative.

Muhammad Ahijo, the bank’s Regional Head, North West 2, highlighted the significance of the initiative, stating, “The Fidelity Food Bank Initiative aims to alleviate hardship faced by many amid current economic challenges.”

Ahijo emphasized, “At Fidelity Bank, we believe in supporting and empowering communities for a better society. By addressing poverty and hunger, we aim to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need.”

Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, represented by Chief of Staff, Alhaji Mukhtar Lugga, expressed gratitude, stating, “We appreciate Fidelity Bank’s support to vulnerable households, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.”

Accountant General of Zamfara State, Alhaji Ali-Akilu Muhammad, thanked Fidelity Bank for its generosity and urged other banks to follow suit in assisting less privileged families in the state.
