NGO Disburses Free Drugs worth Thousands Of Naira To Inmates In Bauchi

Alayahbi Women and Children Health Home Care and Welfare has distributed free drugs and other aids materials to kobi Remand Home in Bauchi metropolitan city.

The event took place at Kobi Remand Home near football field.

Alayahbi is an existing and viable non governmental organization that specializes in reaching out to Vulnerable groups and Orphans across Northeastern part of Nigeria with experts and specialists on entrepreneurship development initiatives among other Medical Services.

This prestigious NGo has been rendering free Ramadan feedings to Orphans and Vulnerable groups for over a decade now.

During the presentation of the First Aid drugs, sensitization lecture on HIV/AIDS, TUBERCULOSIS and MALARIA were delivered by Bauchi State Agency for Control of HIV/AIDS, TUBERCULOSIS AND MALARIA (BACATMA) to the Staff of Remand Home by Mal.Aliyu Usman and Mal. Nurudeen Usman for onward delivery to the inmates, more lights on the significance of HIV and Aids diagnosis, preventions and control of the spread of the killer diseases were highlighted.

Also Development Exchange Centre (DEC) delivered a lecture on the impact of DEC micro credit on Women in Nigeria Communities by DEC officers, Mr Godiya Musa Dagums and Mrs Emily Stephen.

Alayahbi NGO goal is to reduce Maternal/Child Morbidity and Mortality rate in Rural Communities by carrying out a Community outreach to enable access to those that are unable to access quality Medical Care leading to universal Health coverage (UHC)

We believe that every Human being deserve a life of dignity and Education is a step out of poverty that provide opportunities employment and sustainable future

Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) are not left out in our accessibility in Health/Education.

Also, we deploy an expertise to identified Community to train them on indigenous Skills acquisition i.e Crop production, Poultry, Livestock farming etc to provide a sustainable career that leads to the development of our Communities.

Officials of the development exchange Centre(DEC) commended the great work of Alayahbi NGO for the Monumental jobs among the less Privileged and Vulnerable groups in Nigeria and urged all critical stakeholders to rally their supports in cash and in kind to this great NGO.

This great NGO is operating strictly from Bauchi metropolitan city with administrative office at Yusuf Maitama Tugga shopping complex, Adamu Jumba Road

The Executive Director and founder is Hajiya Binta R. Abdulkareem who is a Midwife educator with over 34 years in public service.

The E.D have commended the efforts of First Lady of Bauchi State,Hajiya Aishatu Bala Mohammad for supporting this great NGO to deliver its services to Vulnerable groups and calls on other First Ladies in Nigeria to emulate her in complimenting these great efforts and initiatives.
