BREAKING: Ondo APC Gubernatorial Aspirant, Akintelure, Passes Away

Dr. Paul Akintelure, a candidate vying for the gubernatorial seat in the upcoming All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections scheduled for April 25, has reportedly passed away.

Sources indicate that Akintelure, a medical practitioner hailing from Igbotako in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State, succumbed to a brief illness in the early hours of Tuesday, reportedly in Lagos.

At the time of this report, the family has yet to make an official statement regarding his demise.

It’s worth noting that last week, Akintelure had raised concerns about threats to his life, allegedly related to the impending gubernatorial election in the state.

Notably, Akintelure served as the running mate to the late Oluwarotimi Akeredolu during the 2012 governorship election under the now-defunct Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).
