Dangote Petroleum Refinery has just announced a notable drop in the price of Automotive Gas Oil (diesel), slashing it from ₦1,200/litre to ₦1,000/litre.
According to the spokesperson, Nduka Chiejina, this unprecedented move aims to benefit consumers across the board and tackle the country’s high inflation rate.
Following a recent reduction from ₦1,200/litre, this further decrease is expected to have a significant impact on the economy.
Oil marketers had previously urged for a reduction to ₦850/litre, prompting this latest adjustment by the refinery. Stay tuned for updates.
