Ganduje’s Troubles Persist As N’Central Stakeholders’ Push for APC Chairmanship

The quest to reclaim the national chairmanship positions within the All Progressives Congress (APC) by stakeholders from the North Central region has gained momentum.

This push comes in response to the party’s zoning of the chairmanship seat to the North Central ahead of the 2023 elections. However, disruptions ensued following Abdullahi Adamu’s resignation from Nasarawa State in the North Central region last year.

Sources within the APC informed Leadership that the exclusion of the North Central from the chairmanship seat has sparked dissatisfaction among some members in the zone.

While maintaining decorum in deference to the president, leaders from the North Central region are increasingly rallying to rectify the situation.

The recent appeal by former national vice chairman of the APC, Salihu Lukman, for the national chairmanship seat to revert to the North Central has garnered substantial support from party leaders in the zone.
