400-Level UniAbuja Student Who Declared Missing Found Dead

The body of Marjanatu Zubairu, a 400-level student at the University of Abuja, has been discovered, following her family’s report of her disappearance.

According to Alhaji Zubairu Jibrin Yewuti, her uncle and former vice chairman of the Kwali Area Council, Marjanatu, a Department of Arts Education student residing in Piwoyi, left for school on Friday, April 26. However, she failed to return home and her phone remained unreachable.

Yewuti recounted, “Her parents contacted me, concerned about her whereabouts, as she hadn’t arrived at my place as expected. Despite our attempts to reach her, her phone remained off.”

Tragically, family member Usman Garba Fodio confirmed her demise in a Facebook post on Monday, April 29, stating that she was found dead after allegedly being involved in a motor accident following her departure from school on Friday. Further details regarding the incident are pending investigation.
