Zamfara Seeks Support from Jigawa on Public and Civil Service Reforms

A delegation from Zamfara State’s civil service visited Jigawa State to learn from its successful service model. The visit aimed to explore and potentially adopt effective policies to enhance service delivery in Zamfara.

During a courtesy visit to Governor Namadi at the Government House in Dutse on Tuesday, Alhaji Muhammad Bello Umar, leader of Zamfara State’s Committee on Public and Civil Service Reforms, expressed gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality extended by the Jigawa State Government. He highlighted the purpose of the visit, stating, “We are here to learn the positive policies of Jigawa State regarding Public and Civil Service reforms.”

Alhaji Umar elaborated that Zamfara State intends to implement similar reforms observed in Jigawa to improve its civil service efficiency and effectiveness. This exchange underscores a collaborative effort between the states to share best practices and foster improvements in public administration.

In response, Alhaji Muhammad K Dagaceri, Jigawa State’s Head of the Civil Service, reassured the delegation of their full support. He emphasized Jigawa’s commitment to assisting Zamfara State in its reform initiatives, pledging to provide all necessary resources and guidance to enhance public service performance in Zamfara.
