Bauchi Assembly Condoles NTA Over the Demise Of Staff

Bauchi State House of Assembly says it has received with shocked the death of NTA Bauchi parliamentary correspondent Nasiru Umar Tirwun.

The House in a statement signed by its information Officer Muhammad Babaji Katagum described Nasiru Umar as a hardworking and committed reporter that reports activities of the assembly.

The State Assembly in a sign statement explained that, “the death of Nasiru Umar is not for his family and relatives, the NTA and the Nigeria Union of Journalists alone but to the State House of Assembly and the state in general”.

“His his contributions to the development of BAHA activities in the area of reportage and field of Journalism would always be remembered”.

BAHA prayed Allah to grant his soul Aljannatul Firdaus and God to give the family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

The deceased Nasiru Umar Tirwun died after after a brief illness at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University Teaching Hospital Bauchi.

He has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
