Zamfara State Governor, Dr. Dauda Lawal, has announced the formation of the 2024 Amirul Hajj Committee, appointing Deputy Governor Malam Mani Malam Mummuni as its Chairman.
This announcement was made through a press release signed by Suleiman Ahmad Tudu, the Senior Special Assistant (Media) in the Office of the Secretary to the State Government, a copy of which was made available to The Spectacles on Sunday.
The committee includes:
– Deputy Governor Malam Mani Malam Mummuni: Chairman
– Emir of Maradun, Alhaji Garba Muhammad Tambari: Vice Chairman
– Mal. Ibrahim Abubakar: Member
– Hadiza Mohammed Gumm: Member
– Aisha Ibrahim: Member
– Special Adviser to the State Governor on Religious Matters, Bello Isah Almuft: Member
– Permanent Secretary Cabinet Affairs, Dr. Lawal Hussein: Secretary
– Executive Secretary, Zakkat Board, Mal. Habibu Sheikh Balarabe: Assistant Secretary
Governor Lawal emphasized the importance of the committee, stating, “I expect the committee members to provide effective leadership and coordinate the activities of other government officials to ensure the success of the 2024 Hajj exercise.”
