The House of Representatives member for Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka, has once again demonstrated his commitment to his constituents. On June 13th, 2024, Isiaka empowered hundreds of his constituents with 10 tricycles, 20 motorcycles, 50 grinding machines, 50 sewing machines, and cash to support their businesses.
Isiaka, while distributing the items to the youths, women, and elderly politicians in the constituency, emphasized that the gesture was aimed at supporting and empowering those in need, fulfilling his campaign promises.
The lawmaker urged the beneficiaries to use the items as intended and assured them that more physical projects would be executed across the two local governments in due course.
Speaking to AMEBO NEWSPAPERS NG, Isiaka said, “My empowerment program is a way of remembering my people and thanking them for the mandate given to me to represent them again.”
Comrade Azeez Amoo Adeyemi, the Special Assistant to Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun on Students, praised the lawmaker for the empowerment scheme, noting it would help alleviate suffering in Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency.
Dignitaries in attendance included Chief Derin Adeniyi, Hon. Adesina Sikiru Adisa, the Executive Chairman of Ewekoro Local Government, Alhaji Musbaudeen Adebesin, Seriki of Oko village, High Chief Adeshina Adegbenro, Hon. Adekunle Adegboyega Texaco, among others.
Ayoola Busari, a tricycle beneficiary and amputee, expressed his gratitude to Hon. Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka for the support, praying for the facilitator’s well-being.
Hon. Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka MHR was represented by Hon. Abiodun Adeleye, the former Senior Special Adviser to Ogun State on Revenue. Adeleye appreciated all leaders present, including party chairmen, ward chairmen, former chairmen, apex leaders in Ifo and Ewekoro Local Government, and councilors.
Delivering the speech, Isiaka highlighted the significance of the empowerment initiative:
“Today marks a significant milestone in our journey together. It has been one year since I took office as your representative in the 10th National Assembly, and it is with immense pride and gratitude that I stand before you to commemorate this occasion.
Throughout this past year, I have worked tirelessly to serve the interests of Ifo/Ewekoro constituency, to address your concerns, and to champion policies that uplift our communities. My focus has always been on quality representation, accountability, and progress, guided by the values of integrity and service to the people of Ifo/Ewekoro.

These items, as you can see displayed here, are aimed at empowering and equipping our community members with the tools and resources they need to thrive and succeed in various endeavors.

Through these capacity-building items, we are providing opportunities for growth, learning, and skill development that will benefit individuals, families, and our community as a whole.
